FATHER, SON CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY

A Tennessee teen and his father were charged in connection with an April 20 shooting in Rutherford County that left a 26-year-old Lebanon man hospitalized.

Police say 19-year-old Christian Curtis is accused of shooting the unidentified victim; he’s been charged with attempted murder.

In addition, both Curtis and his father, Richard Denton Curtis, have been charged with conspiracy to commit especially aggravated robbery, as well as tampering with evidence. The elder Curtis was also charged with accessory after the fact.

Christian Curtis is being held on $560,000 bond at the Rutherford County jail. Richard Curtis is being held on $350,000 bond.
