FBI SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN ROBBERY OF BANK IN LENOIR CITY

The FBI and Loudon County authorities continue to search for a suspect in a bank robbery in Lenoir City. The male entered the Foothills Credit Union around 12:30 p.m. yesterday, approached a teller and demanded money. He soon after fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is described as a man in his 40’s to early 50’s standing between 5′9″ and 6’ tall. Law enforcement says he was wearing glasses, a blue gaiter over his face, a blue hat with a triangle logo on the front, blue jeans, and a gray zip-up shirt.
