Firefighters in Rhea County responded yesterday to a two-alarm commercial structure fire at 303 Second Avenue in downtown Dayton.

The blaze was quickly extinguished.

No injuries were initially reported.

The cause of the fire is being determined.

Crews from the Sale Creek, Soddy Daisy, and Sequoyah fire departments responded to assist in mutual aid.
