FIRST RESPONDERS FIND MISSING MORGAN COUNTIAN ALIVE

First responders in Morgan County located 50-year-old Trevor Glenn Hurtt of Lancing late last night. He was reported missing yesterday after he left for work around 7 a.m. and never arrived.

Sheriff Wayne Potter issued the following statement:

“We are extremely grateful for all of the assistance we received from our amazing communities and the surrounding counties. This could have ended very different, but thanks to God we were able to locate Mr. Hurtt after a long and extensive search. I want to personally thank Morgan, Scott and Anderson Rescue squad members, both state and federal park rangers, TDOC dog team, Preacher Joey Aytes, the Wartburg Police Department, Blue Line Security and the numerous employees from Plateau Electric as well as the many Morgan County citizens who volunteered in looking for Mr. Hurtt. Please continue to pray for the Hurtt’s family and Trevor as he recovers. Again thank you for the powers of prayer.”
