FISHING REPORT FOR WATTS BAR, CENTER HILL AND DALE HOLLOW LAKE – NOV. 5, 2020

WATTS BAR

Reservoir Conditions: The lake is at lower summer level. The water temperature is in the mid 60’s.

Crappie: Most crappie are being caught around deeper docks. Blowdowns on deeper banks and submerged brush are also places to fish. Use minnows or jigs. Most crappie are deep.

Bass: Fish around grass beds. Use plastic frogs over the grass and crankbaits or spinnerbaits on the grass edge.

Catfish: Fishing is good. Drift the main channel with meaty baits when the current is present.

Bluegill: Fish around docks or along rock bluffs. Use worms or crickets for bait.

Striped Bass: Swimbaits or shad are better baits. The mid lake has the greater number of stripers now.

Walleye: Fishing for walleye is slow.

DALE HOLLOW

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is slow. The water temperature is 63 degrees and the lake is falling.

Smallmouth Bass: A few smallmouth are being caught on swimbaits while fishing points in 25-40 feet of water.

Largemouth Bass: A few largemouth are being caught in the rivers while fish are schooling on crankbaits and A-rigs in 10-15 feet of water.

Crappie: A few crappier are being caught on minnows around fallen trees in 15 feet of water.

CENTER HILL

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is slow. The water temperature is 65 degrees and the lake is falling.

Bass: A few bass are being caught on football jigs on points in 10-20 feet of water.

Crappie: A few crappie are being caught on minnows around fallen trees in 10 feet of water.
