A Florida man who was attacked by an intruder Saturday fought back leaving the suspect with facial injuries.

The arrest report states Barry Sands was asleep at home in Miami when he woke up to what sounded like a “hysterical female banging on the front door of the residence, asking for help.” Sands opened the front door and was allegedly attacked by 35-year-old Mark Katsnelson.

Katsnelson forced his way into the home as he was striking Sands with his hands.

That is when Sands had enough of Katsnelson.

Sands punched Katsnelson several times in the face then called 911.

Katsnelson suffered facial injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Katsnelson was charged with burglary with assault or battery.
