Flossie Marie Worthy, age 87, of Harriman, passed away September 6, 2019. Survivors include children: Patricia Ann Smith of Dallas, Texas, Eddie James Worthy, Jr. of Lorain, Ohio, Helen E. Thomas & husband, Arthur E. of Paradise, California, Christopher J. Worthy, & wife, Denise of Oberlin, Ohio, and Robert L. Worthy of Harriman; grandchildren: James Christopher Holloman, Jonathan Edward Holloman, Michael Gregory Smith, Ashley Elizabeth Kelly, A.J. Thomas, Tyiesha Worthy, Christopher Worthy, Jequerian Worthy, Octavious Worthy, Christian Worthy, Tyqueze Ray, Destiny Wallace, and Brandon Crawley; great-grandchildren: Kane Thomas, Emory Thomas, Amaiya Kelly, Kyle Kelly, Jr., Elijah Kelly, Jonathan Edward Holloman, Kiana Wells, Alayah Holloman, Alexis Holloman, and Maezlynn Worthy; god-daughter: Lisa Porter-Wade of Akron, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, September 13, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Requiem Mass will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 535 Margrave Drive in Harriman. Committal services and interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
