FOUR DEAD, ONE INJURED IN CHATTANOOGA HOUSE FIRE
Four adults died and another was injured in a house fire around 3 a.m. this morning in Chattanooga. Firefighters responded to the residence on Carousel Road and started battling the fire while searching the building. Crews found four people deceased inside, three men and a woman, between the ages of 35 and 85. Officers say a 35-year-old man escaped through a second story window before the fire department’s arrival and was treated for smoke inhalation. His condition is unclear. The Chattanooga Fire Department is investigating the cause of the blaze.
