FOUR DEADLY MOTORCYCLE CRASHES IN THE LAST WEEK
The Cookeville Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. Landon Rice, age 33, died Wednesday, May 12, 2022, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Emergency responders rushed to a motorcycle vs car crash at the intersection of US-41/North Lowry Street and Jefferson Pike in Smyrna around 11:30 AM Thursday Rutherford County EMS pronounced one individual deceased on the scene.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that a Loudon man was killed Thursday night in Roane County when his motorcycle collided with a car.
Thursday, the THP reports that 45-year-old Greg McFalls of Loudon had been riding his Harley Davidson FLH west on Highway 72 when a Buick Lacrosse driven by an 18-year-old male attempted to turn left into the parking lot at Midway High School, and the two vehicles collided.
Retired Cookeville Police Captain Bobby Anderson was killed in a motorcycle accident Friday night at 50-years-old. Anderson was driving a 2019 Honda Goldwing motorcycle in the area of Buffalo Valley Road near Eagles Landing Drive. The accident involved Anderson’s motorcycle and a dump truck.
