Life Care Center of Athens in McMinn County reports four patients died from COVID-19 and 70 residents out of 97 as well as 42 employees tested positive. Officials say 19 tests are still pending. Because of the number of staff members testing positive, the center is using staff from other Life Care Center locations. Any staff member from another Life Care Center facility who works in the Athens location will not return to their facility until they meet CDC guidelines for a safe return to work.
