Frankie Smith, age 72, of Rockwood, passed away August 17, 2020. He is survived by his wife: Trudy Smith; sons: Scotty Smith (Kim) and Michael Smith; grandchildren: Peyton Robinette, Colton Robinette, Sydney Smith, Maddie Smith, Freddy Poffenburger (Leann), Katherine Poffenburger (Robbie), Dezi Webb (Tom); brothers: Paul Smith (Wilma) and Billy Smith (Debra); sister: Jackie Harvey Morton (Chip); brother and sister–in-laws: Sammy & Betty Jones, Harold & Barbara Nelson, Helen Francis, Wayne & Shirley Bullard, George & Joy Nelson, and Joan & James Leffew; aunt: Betty McCarrol; special cousins: Jared Hall and Jimmy McCarrol; and his beloved dog Fletcher and his horse, Chase. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 20, from 6 until 8 p.m. eastern at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow. Graveside and interment service will be Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the New Hope Cemetery in Rockwood.
