FROZEN PASTA MEALS RECALLED BECAUSE OF UNDECLARED ALLERGEN

Bellisio Foods, Inc. is recalling nearly 4,000 pounds of its frozen beef spaghetti products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen. “Michelina’s Spaghetti with Meat Sauce” contains soy, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label.

The frozen products were made April 22, 2021. The product has a 8.5-oz paperboard tray with lid packages containing “Michelina’s Spaghetti with Meat Sauce” with lot code J1112N8, “BEST BY 22APR2022”, and a UPC code of “7 17854 10503 9” on the bottom label.

The USDA says the products were shipped to retail locations nationwide. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions because of consumption of the products.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
