FUGITIVE FACING CHARGES INCLUDING VEHICULAR HOMICIDE CAPTURED

The Rhea County Sheriff’s Office search for a wanted fugitive came to an end Saturday with the arrest of 59-year-old Bradley Allan Gabehart. He faces vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular homicide, reckless vehicle homicide, speeding and two counts of DUI. He was processed into jail and bond initially set at $100,000. Gabehart is scheduled to be arraigned in court April 7, 2021. The charges stem from a September 2020 vehicle crash in Rhea County on Highway 27. An automobile driven by Gabehart crashed into a Jeep operated by 65-year-old Randal Gibbs of Spring City. Gibbs died at the scene for injuries sustained.
