GARRETT SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON FOR MURDER
A jury has convicted a Bradley County man for fatally shooting a male at a bar.
Charles Franklin Garrett was found guilty of first-degree murder for the death of Exavier Rouse in March 2021 at TBOW’s Tavern in Cleveland.
Garrett fled the scene. Deputies later located him at Spring Lake Apartments.
The jury also convicted Garrett of attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and using a firearm during a dangerous felony.
The judge sentenced Garrett to life in prison.
