With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father,
Gary Lynn Phipps, who left us peacefully on Father’s Day 2025 at the age of 70
years young. A proud U.S. Army veteran and hard-working, devoted diesel mechanic, he was
the heart of our family, he was kind and deeply loved with a contagious sense of
humor. He brought light to our lives through his quiet strength, sense of humor and love
for animals, motorcycles, family, friends, and his love for the outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky Phipps,
his devoted son, Jason Phipps & daughter in law, Celena Phipps
his brother John Phipps and sister-in-law Lisa Phipps
Granddaughters: Victoria Phipps & Morissa Pena,
Grandsons: Colby Pena & Jaikan Wilson
Nephews: Jeffrey, Joshua, CJ, Jacob, Isaac Phipps
Nieces: Alanis, Lillian, Amber & Christy Phipps
Stepsons: Danny & Kacey Patterson, & Ken Starnes
Longtime family friend: Kris Harness

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at Kingston Memorial Gardens. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Phipps Family.
