Funeral services for George Dale Woods, age 88, of Crossville, will be held at Central Baptist Church on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Akins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Lou Woods; children: Ken Woods and Karen Burgess (Tim); grandchildren: Kelly Reed, Eric Burgess, and William Woods; great-grandchildren: Max Reed, Miles Reed, Matthew Reed, Justin Burgess, Hudson Burgess, and Oliver Burgess; and brothers: Donald Woods and Richard Woods.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gideons International.
