Georgia Worley Hammons, age 87, of Pleasant Hill, passed away September 7, 2020. She was born September 12, 1932 in Monticello, Kentucky the daughter of Menzo and Martha Bell. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother who greatly loved her family. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church and former member of Smith’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: Martha Norrod (Ronnie), Roger Worley (Debbie), Nellie Singer, and Roy Worley (Carolyn), all of Crossville; grandchildren: Kimberly Marshall, Teresa Zink, Wes Worley, Ronnie Norrod Jr., Lonnie Norrod, Dusty Norrod, Rusty Norrod, Rob Worley, Tiffany Singer, Christopher Singer, Travis Worley, Carrie Dowell and Ashley Worley; many great-grandchildren; and many stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Smith’s Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Norrod Jr., Lonnie Norrod, Dusty Norrod, Rusty Norrod, Travis Worley and Christopher Singer.
