Members of The Harriman Industrial Development board met Monday evening at City Hall to agree on finalizing documents of a contractual agreement with a paranormal group out of South Pittsburg Tennessee for the use of the former Roane Medical Center building downtown. The attorney for the Industrial Development board Allison Rhen will now send the final contractural agreement the board came up with last night, for them to review and discuss and see if they will bring their Ghost Hunting endeavors to Harriman.

Some of the particulars in the contract which State several stipulations the group must comply with was given to us in an interview after the meeting from Board Member Dave Vanisdale and here is what some of the details.

Several stipulations in a contractual agreement are the group would be paying $5,000 a year for five years and if the paranormal group didn’t follow through with their side of the contract then the deal could be pulled at any time. One note is the former Hospital building will not be sold outright but again the contract will be for five years. Either side could terminate their deal with a 90-day notice if failed to meet their contractual agreements.
