Gilbert Mayton, age 49, of Westel, passed away December 1, 2020 at Roane Medical Center. He worked at the Rogers Group for 30 years and loved to operate equipment. He is survived by his sons: Kadien and Noah Mayton, Mark, Matt, and Michael Binkley; father & stepmother: Ernest & Bobbie Mayton; brothers: Ray, Bobby, Harold Andrews and Woodie Mayton; sisters: Gail Cousino, Heather Mayton, Amanda Bingham, and Tammy Robinson; mother of his children: Shelley Mayberry; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, December 7, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the funeral service will follow. Graveside service will be Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Elverton Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home in Harriman is honored to serve the Mayton family.
