A photo of Tennessee’s Governor Bill Lee was posted on the Reddit website this weekend. The picture was of Lee dressed in woman’s clothing that had originally been published in the 1977 Franklin High School’s yearbook.

When Lee was shown the photo and asked about it, he responded  “What a ridiculous question that is…Conflating something like that to sexualized entertainment in front of children, which is a very serious question.”

Lee told reporters this week that he plans to sign legislation that would severely limit where drag performances can take place by banning “adult cabaret entertainment” that is “harmful to minors” from public property or locations where children might see the performance.
