Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Spencer Gray of Murfreesboro was taken into custody Friday following an investigation of sexual activities involving girls between the ages of 11 and 14. Six victims have been identified so far and there could be more. Gray is accused of communicating with the victims on multiple social media platforms, including Snapchat and Instagram.

Gray faces 53 charges including 26 counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, 14 counts of solicitation of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, 9 counts of statutory rape and one count each of rape, solicitation of rape of a child, sexual battery, and solicitation of a minor for sexual activities.

Gray was processed into the Rutherford County jail and his bond was initially set at $325,000.
