GREEN HILLS MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO MURDER

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Green Hills man accused of killing his 76-year-old wife with a hammerpleaded guilty to first-degree murder in Davidson County Criminal Court on Wednesday morning.
Joseph Glynn faces a life sentence for the killing of Jackie Glynn, who was initially reported missing as a Silver Alert out of Nashville in January. Police say her remains were found buried on the couple’s seven-acre property in Smithville.
Glynn allegedly admitted to hitting his wife in the head with a hammer at their Green Hills home. Investigators say he also admitted to driving her remains to the couple’s property in DeKalb County, and burying her in a vehicle cargo box, a spot that had been previously dug out by contractors.
Glynn now faces life behind bars.
