Gregory “Greg” Alan Letner, 38, of Harriman, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. He was born on October 11, 1987, and was a lifelong resident of Roane County.

Greg was a 2006 graduate of Roane County High School and attended Roane State Community College. A skilled craftsman and carpenter, Greg took pride in his work and the things he could create with his hands.

Greg enjoyed many things in life, especially golfing, basketball, and spending time with his family. Above all, family was very important to him. He especially loved being an uncle and wore that title proudly. The love he had for his nieces and nephews was evident in the special place each of them held in his heart. Greg is preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Plemons; grand parents, Jackie and Pat Plemons; brother, Bailey Booth.

He is survived by his father, Bobby Letner, and his wife, Johna of Harriman; his brothers, Gage Letner and Elizabeth of Oliver Springs, and Brandon Skipper of Portal, Texas; his sisters, Breanna Letner and Anthony Harriman, and PJ Narramore and husband, Blake of Kingston; grandparents, Louise and Alvin Shepherd and Teresa Booth; along with his beloved nieces, Sophia Letner, Taelynn Moffitt, Willow, Tilly, and Ella Narramore; and nephews, Elijah Skipper, Riley Skipper, Walker Letner, Bodhi Moffitt, and Stetson Narramore. He is also survived by many extended family members and a host of special friends who will cherish the memories they shared with Greg.

Greg will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his 38 years.

A Celebration of Life for Greg will be held at a later date. Details will be announced by the family.
