GREYHOUND BUS LEAVES TRAVELERS STRANDED FOR DAYS IN KNOXVILLE
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —Numerous travelers were stranded in Knoxville on Friday when their Greyhound bus never showed up. Greyhound Bus 1511 stated they had an “unexpected cancellation.” The bus was expected to arrive at the bus stop on Cherry Street, at the Marathon gas station.
Travelers stated they were stranded for days and finally on the third day they were taken to a hotel. However, they were upset because they had no chargers for their phones or had to get back to work.
A bus finally arrived Monday night around 10 PM. A spokesperson for Greyhound stated, “We are thankful for the patience of our passengers as schedule #1511 experienced an unexpected cancellation in Knoxville. Passengers were fed, provided hotel rooms and rebooked for travel.”
This is not the first-time travelers have been stranded. In April, a bus never arrived, and people claim it happened in July as well.
