Mr. H. Carter Maupin of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee, on Sunday, February 23, 2025, having attained the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on Sunday, July 6, 1952, the son of Howard C. and Jimmie (Burchett) Maupin. He was a Christian of the Methodist faith and a cherished member of Maupin Church. He retired from the USDA, was a mason, a Kentucky Colonel, and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Susan UpChurch Maupin, whom he wed on Saturday, January 10, 1976, son, H.C. (& Jordan) Maupin of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Myla and Adalynn Maupin, other relatives, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Maupin Church with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, February 28, 2025, at Campbell-New Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. CST until 9:00 p.m. and again Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. CST. Visitation will resume Saturday at 9:00 a.m. CST at Maupin Church until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Maupin Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
