Nancy Grubb, age 74, of the Cumberland Cove Community of Monterey, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Cookeville, Tennessee, while under the care of Gentiva Hospice from an ongoing illness. Mrs. Grubb was born on Monday, April 10, 1950, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to the late Kelly Douglas and Marguerite Ina Munn Freeman. Mrs. Grubb was a dedicated dental hygienist for nearly 35 years and loved her patients dearly. She previously worked with Dr. Martin and Kramer in Cookeville. She was a volunteer with Wags and Whiskers and the Cumberland County Playhouse. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She graciously gave her all in everything. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert E. Grubb; daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Stephen Johnson; grandchildren, Savannah (Clayton) Sparks, Aidan and Braden Perry, Hope and Will Johnson; great grandchildren, Amelia Jean and Cordelia Louise. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only sister, Jean A. Freeman.
