Rhea County High School has hired Walker Valley defensive coordinator Taylor Harvey as its new football coach.

Harvey has an impressive resume coming in to coach Rhea County.

Among his honors include the 2023 Tennessee Class 5A Defensive Assistant of the Year, 2020 and 2023 Region 4-5A Defensive Assistant of the Year, and part of 9 straight playoff and 2 semifinal appearances
