HAVE YOU SPOTTED THIS SKUNK? TWRA WANTS TO KNOW

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reaching out to the public for assistance in tracking an uncommon species of skunk found in eastern and middle Tennessee.

The Eastern Spotted Skunk is now considered a species of greatest conservation need in Tennessee. It is slightly smaller and less commonly seen than its striped cousin.

TWRA would like residents with trail-camera or cell-phone images of this elusive fellow – regardless of image quality or resolution – to send photos to them.

In Region 1, email photos to [email protected]. In Region 2, email [email protected]. In Region 3, email [email protected]. And in Region 4, email [email protected].
