Heather Young Trzos, 44
Mrs. Heather Young Trzos, 44, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, after a four-year courageous battle with cancer. After graduation from Oakdale School in 2000 and The University of Tennessee in 2004, she worked at TVA in Knoxville for her entire career and as a Senior Program Manager throughout most of her illness. She was saved as a young girl and baptized at Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. She was a woman who loved the Lord and boldly shared her faith. Heather was a member of First Baptist Church Kingston and taught a ladies bible study in Knoxville. She loved dance, all things pink and sparkly, and loved cheering on her beloved TN Vols.
Heather was preceded in death by her father, Rev. William “Bill” Young
Grandparents, Herbert and Peggy Young; and
Grandmother, Bobbe Honey.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bartek Trzos;
Mother: Dr. Susan Honey Young;
Brother: Jason (Michelle) Young; and
Nephews and Niece: Jay, Andrew, and Carla Young;
Grandfather: Jerry Honey;
Mother-in-law: Lucja Trzos;
Sister-in-law: Katarzyna McWhorter; and
Niece and Nephew, Olivia and Shawn McWhorter;
as well as many other family, friends, and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 6, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 PM at First Baptist Church Kingston followed by a service at 8:00 PM officiated by Dr. Dale Darley. Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Roane Memorial Gardens.
