A high speed pursuit in Loudon County ended with an arrest. Officers say 20-year-old Jeffrey Damian Givens of Lenoir City was involved in a hit and run on Williams Ferry Road. Givens reportedly drove off making his way to Highway 321 running several red lights before getting onto I-75. Givens supposedly threw a bag containing a drug out the window which was recovered. The pursuit ended a short time later. Givens was charged with several offenses including aggravated assault, vandalism, evading arrest, and manufacture, sale and delivery or drugs.
