HIGHLIGHTS FROM KINGSTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Kingston City Council Members met last night in regular session Tuesday evening. The council approved the 2024 annual audit conducted for the city.

The council also approved giving up a portion of Farmer Road near Gallahar Road to a developer who is planning on a car dealership in that location which would be just to the south of the Gallahar Road interchange on Highway 70.

The council also approved allowing the police department to donate several cameras they are no longer using because they do not fit their technology for the police department. The cameras will be donated to the Meigs County Sheriff’s Department.
