KNOXVILLE, Tenn-  On Monday, a house fire in South Knoxville had four children trapped in the basement. All of the children were sent to the hospital and one, Delilah, age 3 did not survive. The other three children are said to still be in critical condition. At the time of the fire, six of the seven residents were home. Four dogs also died in the fire, and the home is a total loss.

Knoxville Firefighters fought for over two hours trying to get the fire out.

Fire crews are still working to figure out what caused the fire.
