The remains of hurricane Ida have dumped incredible amounts of rain across middle and East Tennessee over the last 24 hours and when all rain gauges report on Wednesday I will let you know who led the way in rainfall. The flash flood watch has been cancelled from the Cumberland Plateau to the west but it remains in effect for East Tennessee until midday on Wednesday. Beautiful weather is coming from Thursday through Saturday with lots of sunshine and low humidity and very pleasant temperatures with highs around 80 and lows in the mid-50s.
