ILLEGAL CHARGED IN FATAL CHAPMAN HIGHWAY CRASH HAS BEEN DEPORTED
An ICE spokesman confirmed this afternoon Francisco-Eduardo Franco Cambrany, the illegal alien charged in the December 2018 crash that killed Pierce Corcoran, has been deported.
Cambrany had been living illegally in the U.S. for about 14 years. A judge ordered his deportation at a March 15 hearing.
Cambrany had been charged in Knox County with criminally negligent homicide after a head-on crash on Chapman Highway that killed the son of Knoxville Fire Department Captain D.J. Corcoran.
The Corcorans have filed an $8 million civil suit against both Cambrany and the man whose pickup truck Cambrany was driving that night. They claim they want someone held responsible for the death of their son.
