INCREASING HUMIDITY

Official temperature readings hit 90 degrees in Knoxville on Sunday with 86 in Crossville and the heat index in Crossville was 88 which is the highest of the summer. July will come in with typical summer weather, partly cloudy with increasing humidity and a chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm. Chances increase to 50% on Thursday and are likely on Friday. A threat of storms will hang over July 4th activities so I will be keeping you updated that afternoon to help you with your outdoor activities. June ended with normal temperatures but above normal precipitation
