Hamilton County authorities say rescue workers found an injured hiker on Signal Mountain yesterday afternoon. Several agencies, including from Rhea County, responded to the scene because of the steep and rough trails. Officials reported the operation concluded shortly after 3:15 a.m. this morning with the patient taken to a hospital for treatment.
