INJURIES REPORTED IN RV ACCIDENT ON INTERSTATE 40

Troopers and medics responded to a vehicle accident yesterday afternoon on I-40 in Loudon County resulting in eastbound traffic shut down for over an hour. Troopers say a 2019 Motor Coach RV operated by 33-year-old Benjamin Fraser​ of Kansas City, Missouri was traveling between the 364 and 365 mile marker when he fell asleep at the wheel. The automobile struck a concrete barrier and rolled onto the driver’s side coming to rest blocking both lanes. Three passengers including 33-year-old Laura Fraser and two juveniles sustained injuries in the crash. The driver and two other minors were not hurt.
