A two vehicle crash on Highway 62 east of Monterey yesterday left two hurt. Troopers say a 1996 Chevy Blazer driven by 56-year-old Kimberly Sampley went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and came back on the asphalt. She collided with an oncoming vehicle operated by 49-year-old John Ford. Both drivers were restrained and transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center for treatment. Sampley was later charged with DUI and resisting arrest.
