INJURIES REPORTED IN VEHICLE CRASH ON KENTUCKY HIGHWAY 704

State police and medics responded yesterday to a vehicle accident in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Highway 704. The initial report indicates 30-year-old Jonathan Neathery of Columbia was driving a 2002 Toyota Tundra westbound, crossed the center dividing line and hit an oncoming 2013 Chevrolet Impala operated by 42-year-old Lottie Baker of Burkesville head-on. Neathery was transported by ambulance to Cumberland County Hospital where he was treated and later released. Baker was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville where she was last listed in critical condition. Officers say both drivers were unrestrained at the time of impact. The accident remains under investigation.
