Inus Carrie Fitzgerald, age 96, of Crossville, passed away on October 5, 2023, at Life Care Center of Crossville.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on March 29, 1927, in Ozone, the daughter of the late Johnny Frank Lowery and Corine (McCoy) Lowery.

Inus was a CNA and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons: Charles Fitzgerald (Barbara) of Crossville and Jeff Fitzgerald (Lisa) of Crab Orchard; and grandchildren: Steve Fitzgerald, Michael Tharp, and Eric Fitzgerald.

In addition to her parents, Inus was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Lee Fitzgerald; daughter: Sharon Ann Tharp (Jesse); grandchildren: Angela Tharp and Tyler Fitzgerald; sisters: Mildred Baird, Rema Fitzgerald, Wilma Boles; and brothers: James Lowery and Junior Lowery.

Funeral services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 1 p.m. with Mike Lowery officiating. Burial will follow at Bat Town Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service.
