Wayne County, Kentucky Sheriff Tim Catron says another arrest has been made in connection to the kidnapping of a female back on February 17, 2021.

Deputies took 26-year-old Trenton R. Bell of Monticello, Kentucky into custody.

Bell allegedly entered the vehicle of Logan Criswell while the female victim was tied up in the back seat. The report states Bell watch Criswell assault the victim with a nail puller (crow bar) and did not intervene to stop Criswell during the attack.

Bell was apprehended yesterday on Bean Street for first-degree assault. He was talen to jail and initially placed under $50,000 cash only bond.

Criswell remains in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $500,000 cash or twice that amount for a property bond.

The case is continued to be investigated by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Drug Enforcement Agency.
