A motorist was taken into custody following a pursuit with Anderson County authorities late yesterday. The chase ended near the 500 block of Tri-County Boulevard in Oliver Springs when 39-year-old Terrance Alexander lost control and struck a power pole. Alexander attempted to flee on foot but was captured after an officer used a taser to stop him. The suspect faces several violations including DUI, vehicular assault and evading arrest
