ISREAL WEAPON INDUSTRIES MOVING HEADQUARTERS TO ANDERSON COUNTY

BBBTV12 – Andersonville, Tenn. – Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) US, Inc. is moving its corporate headquarters and main operations from Pennsylvania to Anderson County, Governor Bill Lee announced this week.
The firearms manufacturer will invest $15.7 million into the project and is expected to create 72 new jobs in Andersonville.
“Tennessee continues to prove itself as the best place in the country to live, work, and raise a family,” Governor Lee said. “We welcome IWI US to the Volunteer State as they expand their operations and provide new opportunities for Tennesseans.”
Casey Flack, IWI US CEO, said the relocation will allow the company to grow while staying close to its customers across the nation. “This move enables us to expand our operations, enhance production capabilities and create new opportunities for growth and collaboration,” Flack noted. “As we establish our presence in Andersonville, we remain firmly committed to innovation and to being an active part of the community.”
Founded in 2013, IWI US is the American subsidiary of a long-standing Israeli firearms manufacturer. The company produces weapons for commercial customers, law enforcement, and government agencies.
Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally (R-Oak Ridge) praised the announcement, calling the investment another example of Tennessee’s skilled workforce and strong support for Second Amendment rights.
Plans for the relocation were first discussed in late 2024 when reports surfaced that the company intended to open a firearms manufacturing facility in Andersonville.
