J.D. Whittenberg, age 84, of Pleasant Hill, passed away March 4, 2020. He is survived by his wife: Norma Yott Whittenberg of Pleasant Hill; daughter: Dianne S. Wells of Memphis; son: Gary W. Whittenberg of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren: Michelle Whittenberg of California, Ada Whittenberg of Crab Orchard, Whitney Danielle McDonald and Alexis McDonald of Chattanooga, and Bret McDonald of California; great-grandchildren: Ziah Whittenberg and Luna McDonald of California; and brother: Bob Whittenberg of Alabama. The family will receive friends at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home Sunday, March 8, 2020, from 1 until 2:30 p.m. with service to follow. Burial will be in Old Bon Air Cemetery.
