Jacob Dean Bishop, age 35, of Lenoir City, passed away October 1, 2019. He was an Army veteran and was currently serving in the 278th Infantry of the National Guard. He was the loving father of Ethan and Liliana Bishop. He was preceded in death by Nephew: Zakk Bartell. He is survived by his mother: Diane Bishop; sister and brother-in-law: Tish and Donnie Bartell; brother: Josh Bishop (Missy); sister: Gwen Cadieux (Jesse) ; fiancé: Brittany Kindred; children: Urijah and Brayson Sexton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday October 6, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1102 Big Springs Road in Maryville, Tennessee. Family and friends will all meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday October 7, 2019 at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for a graveside service with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
