James A. “Chuck” Garner age 91 of Harriman passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at his home. Chuck attended the First Presbyterian Church in Harriman. He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in the textile industry for more than 60 years, working at Burlington Industries, Kayser Roth and retiring from Red Kap. Chuck enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his grandsons and attending their sports activities any time that he could. Preceded in death by his parents Fred and Minnie Garner, son Fred Garner, brother Billy Garner and sister Evelyn Tinker.

Son Jim Garner (Brenda) of Franklin, NC,

Great grandchildren Laney Garner,
Evie Garner,
Hudson Garner,
Monroe Clem,
Maevery Clem,
Brother Charles Garner.

Graveside service 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Roane Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Young officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church 601 Clinton Street Harriman, TN. 37748. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman is serving the Garner Family.
