Graveside Funeral Services for Hugh Neely, age 61, of Crossville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Campground Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Harris and Rev. Josh Harris will officiate. Mr. Neely was born on Friday, June 28, 1963, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Robert William and Emma Lou Harris Neely. Mr. Neely passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He worked with Durable Products Inc. for over 20 years. He loved his garden, coon hunting, going into the woods and listening to his Beagles, fishing, and anything outdoors. He is survived by his sister, Robin Neely of Cookeville, TN; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Sam) Sells, Andy (Shanna) Brown, and Tracy (Amanda) Brown; great nieces and nephews, Gavin, Gage, and Gwen Sells, Arianna and Evie Brown; his caregivers and special aunt and uncle, Reba and “his Buddy” Doyle Pierce of the Mineral Springs Community; aunts and uncle, Hollis and Pat Harris of the Mineral Springs Community, Genevieve Stouder of Monterey, TN, Betty Neely of Clarkrange, TN; special neighbors, Tracy and Heather Smith of Crossville, TN, Johnny and Carlotte Campbell of Crossville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Johnson Neely; and sister, Lilly Reneigh Neely. The family will receive friends at the cemetery for graveside services.
