Jeffery Lee, 69, and Joyce Bradley Smith, 66
Jeffery Lee and Joyce Bradley Smith
Jeffery Lee Smith was born June 12, 1957, and passed away at 69 years of age on June 27, 2026. Jeff was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Dorothy Wightman Smith and Burnist Smith. On September 7, 1984, Jeff married Joyce Bradley; he lovingly said that the reason he married Joyce was that she was “tough enough.”
Nothing can be written to do this man justice. Words cannot describe what a good man he was. If you were lucky enough to know him, you were blessed. He was a man of few words. When he did talk, it was worth listening to. He was honest, loyal, dependable, respectful – a true, honest, good guy. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him – family was #1 to him.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Pam Smith; son, Wade Smith (Kate), and daughter, Andie Terry (Anthony); brothers, Jim Smith (Lisa) and Barry Smith; grandchildren, Pushrod, Ragdoll, Grace, Brylee, Cain, and Lanie; great grandchildren, Annie, EZ, Avie, , Eli, and Miss Mae; nieces and nephews, Savanah, Frank, Dolly, Hank, Joe, Kristi, Candice, Brent, and Bradley; special sister, Shirley Kirby; and many friends and cousins.
He is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Dave Wightman and Ken Smith; and wife, Joyce Bradley Smith.
Jeff was a role model and hero to many, a true example of what a man should be. He will be forever missed.
Joyce Bradley Smith
Joyce was born on January 10, 1958, and passed away on April 28, 2024. She was born to Orval Bradley and Eddith McCanally. She married her beloved husband, Jeff, on September 7, 1984.
Joyce was a very hard worker. She loved with all she had. She was a very proud woman and loved her husband, Jeff, to the point of suffocation. She would always leave her mark on you. Joyce could be a hard woman to get to know. She was a little rough around the edges, but had a heart of gold. If you know, you know.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Smith; sister, Shirley Kirby and Linda McDavid; stepchildren, Andie and Wade Smith; grandchildren, Pushrod, Ragdoll, Grace, Brylee, Cain, and Lanie; nieces and nephews, Candace, Brent, Bradley, Josh, and Corey.
Joyce was preceded in death by both her parents, sister, Gail Husapple, and brother, JR Bradley.
She is missed and loved deeply – we are grateful for her in our lives.
A celebration of life for Jeff and Joyce Smith will be held on Friday, July 3, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, with the memorial service taking place at 5:00 PM.
