MANHUNT UNDERWAY: SUSPECT IDENTIFIED IN BRADLEY COUNTY HOMICIDE, CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Authorities in Bradley County have launched a manhunt for a 28-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting early Tuesday morning.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office has officially identified Christopher John Taylor as the prime suspect in a homicide that took place during the early hours of June 30, 2026, at a home on Lowery Street NE. Detectives have secured an arrest warrant charging Taylor with Second Degree Murder.

Police have released the following physical description of Taylor and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him:

  • Age: 28

  • Height: 6’1″

  • Weight: 175 lbs

  • Appearance: Brown hair and brown eyes.

  • Last Seen Wearing: An orange t-shirt over a white tank top, black shorts, and black shoes.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division states that the investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information regarding Taylor’s whereabouts is urged to contact detectives at 423-728-7336.
