JENNIE MARIE GILLIAM GARRISON age 77 passed away on Tuesday afternoon, February 24, 2026. Jennie was born June 19, 1948 to the late Arthur and Della Mae Gilliam.Jennie was a very faithful woman and helped lead a lot of children to the Lord. She loved her family and was happiest when just walking around in nature. Jennie was the disciplinarian of Grandview Mountain. She proudly claimed to have given every child that lived on that mountain their first “whooping”.

Jennie is survived by her precious daughter Ada (Travis) Reed, grandsons- Tyler (Kim) Garrison and Matthew (Lexi) Garrison., great grandsons- Jackson and Easton Garrison, nieces that she loved as her own- Jamie (Chris) Hill and Sue (G.T.) York, two special life long friends- Brucie and Pete and many more family and nephews.

In addition to the her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years- James Lowell Garrison, son- Jason Garrison, siblings- Arthur Gilliam Jr. (Pearl-surviving), Charlotte Thurman (Billy Ray), Ludy Gilliam (Polly-surviving), Jay W. Gilliam (Helen), Judy Fugate, Betty Brady (Lawrence), Johnny Gilliam, Emaline Nunley and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday February 27, 2026 at 12:00noon EST at Reed Cemetery, 976 Happy Top Rd., Grandview, TN 37337.
